Welcome to our Parish Prayer Diary.
Intercession, or praying for others, is an important part of the Chrisian life of prayer. We pray for others, just as we ask others for their prayers, not because we need to tell God what is happening, but because it is a core part of being Christian.
Praying for others is not something that we do as a kindness to others (though it is kind!). We do it because it is a gift given to us at Baptism, and makes us part of Christ’s work.
